Terms of Service
Last updated: 13 de dezembro de 2025
"Understanding is the first bridge to empathy. By using Neuroactor, you choose to walk across this bridge — not as a judge, but as a learner of the human condition."
1. Nature of Service
Neuroactor is an educational platform that uses artificial intelligence to simulate interactions with fictional personas based on ICD-11 and DSM-5 classifications. Its purpose is exclusively pedagogical: to allow students, professionals, and interested individuals to better understand mental disorders through simulated experience, not diagnosis.
As the human mind is a vast and delicate territory, we make it clear: Neuroactor does not, under any circumstances, replace the care of qualified mental health professionals. The simulations presented here are imperfect mirrors — useful for learning, but never for self-diagnosis or treatment.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Neuroactor, you declare that you have read, understood, and fully agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any provision herein, we respectfully request that you do not use the platform.
Continued use of the service after any modifications to these terms constitutes tacit acceptance of the changes. We recommend periodic review of this document, as knowledge, like the platform, is constantly evolving.
3. Eligibility
Neuroactor is intended for users 18 years of age or older, or, when applicable, minors properly accompanied by legal guardians who understand the educational and sensitive nature of the content.
Simulations may present content that reflects challenging aspects of real psychiatric conditions. This authenticity is intentional and necessary for genuine learning, but requires emotional maturity to be processed constructively.
4. Appropriate Use
When using Neuroactor, you agree to:
- Use the platform exclusively for educational and learning purposes
- Not use the content to stigmatize, ridicule, or discriminate against people with mental disorders
- Not share sessions in a way that could be confused with real interactions
- Not attempt to extract information that could be used for malicious purposes
- Respect the inherent dignity of all human conditions represented
The knowledge we offer here is a tool. Like any tool, it can build or destroy — and the responsibility for its use falls on whoever wields it.
5. Intellectual Property
All platform content — including, but not limited to, texts, source code, design, logos, prompt systems, and educational methodologies — is the exclusive property of Neuroactor or its licensors.
Conversations generated during your sessions are ephemeral creations, born from the encounter between your curiosity and our artificial intelligence. Although you may use them for your personal learning, commercial reproduction or mass redistribution requires express authorization.
6. Limitations and Disclaimers
Neuroactor is provided "as is". Although we strive to offer accurate and educationally valuable simulations, we do not guarantee:
- That representations are clinically perfect in all cases
- That the service will be available uninterruptedly
- That learning results will be uniform for all users
- That simulations cover all nuances of each condition
The human mind is a universe we are still mapping. Our simulations are approximate constellations — useful for navigation, but not the complete sky.
7. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time, with or without prior notice. Learning is a living process, and the platform that serves it must breathe with it. Significant changes will be communicated through appropriate channels.
8. Applicable Law
These Terms will be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, especially regarding the General Data Protection Law (LGPD - Law No. 13.709/2018), the Civil Framework for the Internet (Law No. 12.965/2014), and the Consumer Protection Code when applicable. Any dispute will be submitted to the jurisdiction of the user's domicile.
9. Contact
For questions related to these Terms of Service, suggestions, or concerns, we are available. The door of knowledge remains open:

"May the knowledge acquired here be a seed of empathy. May each simulation reduce a stigma. May each learning build a bridge."
